Healthy Strawberry Jam

I love making recipes at home, especially sweets, to show that it is possible to make delicious recipes without having sugar in mind. Today, I present you with a very simple and sweet recipe to make without the need for sugar.

Today the recipe that I will share with you will be the strawberry jam. In addition to being a fruit adored by many, it is also the fruit of the season. That is why I decided to make the strawberry jam.

This strawberry jam is sweetened with agave syrup, and it stays so sweet that we don't feel the need for processed sugar.

I've made this candy three times. The first time I made it with honey, and it became more consistent. The second time I did it with stevia, and it was equally consistent. This time I made it with agave, and it was a little more liquid, but with the little pieces of strawberry that are always there, it is just as good. It depends on what you like most about the final result.

I can tell you something, I haven't used or consumed white sugar in over 15 years, and I feel great!

Teaching and passing these values on to my children, I feel super proud because my children spend the day eating many fruits, many natural juices that they forget about the usual sweets that the market sells for the little ones.

When making this strawberry jam, it's good to use it on pancakes, crepes, toasts, cookies, cakes, and more. It tastes so good when accompanied by tea. Well, at least I like it a lot :)

I can tell you that at the beginning, I was afraid that it would not be sweet enough, or if it would not look like a strawberry jam has typically to look. But in the end, I was delighted with the final result.

So let's talk about the recipe for healthy strawberry jam.

First, cut the strawberries into pieces, put them in a pan, drizzle them with lemon juice, and then add the agave.

Stir well and set at medium temperature for 10 minutes. Afterward, please turn off the stove, stir well again and let them rest in the pan for another 5 minutes.

Then put them in a jar with a lid and then in the refrigerator. And it's ready to serve! Enjoy the great taste.

If you try making this recipe, please let me know in the comments. I would love to hear from you about the final result, and if you try with another sweetener, let me know what you think!
