Homemade Chocolate with Almonds

This past weekend's recipe, I decided to make a perfect snack that is so easy to make. It only takes four ingredients, and everyone loves it around the house.

And the good thing is healthy, it's easy, and it's ready in just 30 minutes.

But first, just want to say that I usually launch my recipes during the weekend. Still, this last one was so emotionally intensive because it was a whole weekend of my kids' birthday, friends, but the most important was my son's birthday yesterday (20th of June). So, needed to organize everything and also we made a surprise for them, and the surprise was enormous. I will share it with you too in a short time!

But let's talk about the recipe! This time, I did chocolate with almonds. They are truly delicious.

Chocolate with almonds is a thing. And it's worth a try. Almonds add crunch, and their fat content helps moderate the sugar in chocolate that can be bad for your heart and teeth. Almonds also have protein, calcium, and vitamin E.

Almond chocolate is the perfect snack for any time of day or evening.

Easy homemade chocolate almond

Chocolate almond bark is a delicious sweet that can be whipped up in the comfort of your own home! It's perfect for gifts or an indulgent late-night snack.

This recipe contains four ingredients: chocolate, almonds, Stevia, and coconut oil. It also takes less than five minutes to make!

We all love almonds around here, and the best thing about this recipe is the chocolate stays so crunchy and with the taste of the almonds...I just can say wow! It's really something so delicious.

When I do a recipe, I like to see how I can do most healthily because I care about what I put in my recipes, and it's so essential for our health.

Still today, people think to have fun, you need to have crap around the table just because they say that is what people like! But that doesn't mean that we can try and healthily do delicious things! But that's just my opinion!

The chocolate that I use has more percentage of cacao. I love cacao, and its benefits are enormous.

Benefits of Cacao

Cacao is a raw and natural source of energy that is packed with health benefits and mood-boosting effects. Most people would know cacao from chocolate, but there are so many other ways of enjoying this delicious food! Cacao has been shown to positively affect weight loss, mood, blood pressure, & heart health.

Benefits of Almonds

Almonds have been a staple in the Mediterranean diet for centuries. They are high in healthy fats, vitamins E and D, protein, magnesium, selenium, and fiber. One ounce of almonds provides about six essential vitamins and minerals. Additionally, they contain plant sterols which may help lower cholesterol levels. Almonds also provide a great source of energy, with only 161 calories per ounce.

Benefits of Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has become a popular foodstuff over the last few years. It is often used as cooking oil, in smoothies, and as an all-purpose moisturizer. Coconut oil is high in saturated fats with medium-chain triglycerides, making it both stable and long-lasting in the refrigerator or freezer. Coconut oil also contains lauric acid, which has antimicrobial properties that studies show can also help protect against viral infections such as herpes, HIV, influenza, and even the common cold.

Benefits of Stevia

Curious about the benefits of Stevia? Stevia is a plant grown in South America, and it has been shown to have many health benefits. In this article, we'll be covering some of those benefits, as well as how to use Stevia.

Curious what the other benefits are? I will do more recipes with Stevia, and if you try, you will see they stay delicious as the typical way.

So, to start this recipe, I put the chocolate in a bowl and add the coconut oil. It goes to the microwave, and my advice to you is, don't let it stay there melting at once, but each 20 to 30 seconds, check and stir to see if it is all consistent.

After the chocolate is melted, add the almonds and mix them well.

In a plan plate, cover it with baking paper and put on top the melted chocolate with almonds.

Put it in the freezer and leave it there for 30 minutes.

When ready, you can use a knife to cut in squares, but I prefer to do it with my hands! It's easier!

And that's it! So good!!!

Be Creative

If you like to be more creative and add another thing as a topping, I can advise you to put:

Shredded Coconut: If you're thinking about snacking on a bag of shredded coconut, it's essential to know what's in it. Coconut is known for its nutritional value and versatility.

Dark Chocolate: Dark chocolate is one of the richest sources of nutrients on the planet. Dark chocolate is said to be beneficial for heart health and cognitive function.

Ground Almonds: If you are a lover of almonds, you can have more as a topping. Ground almonds are the perfect topping to put on!

And that's all! I hope you enjoyed as much I did writing this recipe and if you try this, just let me know in the comments! I would love to interact with you!

Lots of love
