Potatoes are a cheap, easy-to-prepare vegan snack that can be easily incorporated into your daily routine. The potato is also a good source of fiber and potassium, making it an incredibly healthy option as well as your long-term go-to food! So grab some potatoes and get ready to start snacking today. Don't forget to save this post for future reference if you need more convincing later.

Potatoes are the perfect snack for everyone. They contain high amounts of Potassium and Vitamin C. During the cooking process, they release a chemical called D-Sulphenic Acid that helps reduce LDL Cholesterol (or bad cholesterol).

They are also a good source of fiber, iron, and magnesium. And eating potatoes will not only help you get through your day but help you get through it with energy as well!

According to one study by the USDA Potato Board, people who eat potatoes regularly are at lower risk for developing diabetes and cardiovascular disease. These findings suggest the need to include potatoes in the school lunch program meals.

Potatoes contain a chemical called D-Sulphenic Acid, which has been found to reduce levels of LDL (the bad) cholesterol in the body. One study, published in the "Journal of Nutrition," showed that patients with dyslipidemia (abnormal amounts of LDL and HDL cholesterol) who ate potatoes daily reported significant reductions in total cholesterol and LDL.

And all this can be achieved without the side effects of other high-cholesterol vegan snacks like nuts, candy, or popcorn! The only downside? Potatoes are pricey. At least compared to other healthy vegan snacks. But if you look at the long-term benefits, it is an investment you will never regret.

"The potato is an inexpensive, versatile, delicious, and nutritious vegetable that everyone should eat. In fact, potatoes can help prevent chronic diseases like diabetes, cancer, and heart disease."

Potatoes in the oven! How delicious they are!

Oh, that's very tough for me to decide! I really do love them either way!

Potatoes are such a quick, easy snack—just slice up some potatoes and throw them in the oven with a pinch of salt, and you're good to go. But they can also be used in so many other dishes like curries or mashed potatoes! If you're looking for something healthy that tastes great, your answer is so simple: Potato Chips. They have the same taste and are even more beneficial than those salty potato wedges!

Oh, that's right—what about sweet potatoes?

They are delicious when roasted with oil and a pinch of salt. They're good in so many different kinds of recipes, too! Even though they look similar to regular potatoes, they've got a delicate taste that's just perfect for baking and frying.

Potatoes don't just have to be eaten! They can also be grown! I'm not sure how often potatoes find their way into the garden at home, but if you really want to try, then make sure you select an excellent variety for growing in your area.

About this recipe

I grab two big red potatoes and cut them into slices. Then, I did thin slices into the potatoes to cook quickly in the oven.

After, in a little tupperware, I mix the selected spices. They are turmeric, ginger, garlic, and oregano. Next, add olive oil and salt. Mix all very well.

With a kitchen brush, spread well over the potato and put it in the oven. During 25m at 220ºC, the potatoes are ready to be served.

Enjoy!
